Projects: In the commercial construction world, UGC does tenant improvements (TI) for both existing and new space clients. Like in residential, during our initial meeting with a client, if plans do not exist, we work with the client to determine their immediate needs and wants, while also determining future needs. We then work with our client to clearly define a scope of work. If all is acceptable we get the required disciplines (architect, designer, engineers) together to develop the designs and necessary drawings. Once the drawings are complete and the scope of work is defined, we work with all parties involved to secure any permits. Throughout the project, we continue to optimize the scope of work to meet the client’s needs for the project. Throughout the project we keep our clients involved, if possible daily, to meet their specific expectations.

Some of the commercial projects that we have completed: TI’s that include multiple medical offices, restaurants and generic commercial spaces.  All of the TI’s performed included, below and above ground plumbing, flooring, HVAC, electrical, framing, drywall, tile, cabinetry and all other aspects of construction.  We recently renovated four steel buildings at an industrial campus with all new interiors and upgraded HVAC, electrical and water infrastructure. 

UGC has also worked on apartment/condo conversion projects.  One project included the demolition and conversion of a 100 unit property.  The scope of this project included working with the city, engineers, architects, permitting and all facets of construction.  Conversions can range from a basic remodel and upgrade (i.e. appliances and counter tops), to a complete interior demolition while providing all new infrastructure (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical) structural changes and up grades.
